Chemical Peel £55 per session

Chemical peel is a skin-resurfacing procedure in which a chemical solution is applied to the skin to remove the top layers.  The skin that grows back is smoother and clearer.  Chemical peels are used to treat wrinkles, discoloured skin and scars (usually on the face).

Skin peels have existed since the time of Cleopatra.  This famous queen used lactic acid (found in sour milk) and tartaric acid (found in wine) to give herself mild chemical peels.  This practice continued through the Middle Ages.  Modern scientists now know that sour milk and wine also contain alpha hydroxyl acids which are used today in some mild chemical peels.

The peels used at Glamourpuss Nails & Beauty are classified as light peels.  A course of 3-5 sessions taken at 2 week intervals will give fantastic results with minimal downtime.
